For further information, please visit our website, www.joneslanglasalle.com. We are currently seeking a COMMERCIAL HVAC ENGINEER to join our client located in Sunnyvale, CA. In this role the candidate will provide electrical and mechanical support for the assigned buildings and will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and repairing facility HVAC equipment. Primary responsibilities will include electrical/mechanical support for power systems, boilers, chillers and controls, lighting systems and controls, EMS, BMS and other facility subsystems and support tools. This role has wide ranging responsibilities including: The successful candidate will possess a high school diploma and 3+ years field experience with trade school training OR 5 years total field experience. The ability to read HVAC, electrical, plumbing, architectural blueprints, and use hand tools, power tools, good troubleshooting skills, and the ability to perform basic electric, plumbing and carpentry tasks. Must possess Universal License and excellent computer and communication skills. College graduate preferred. Refrigeration/Food Service equipment experience a plus. This is a non-union position.
