HVAC Estimator
San Diego based HVAC sub-contractor is looking to hire a HVAC Estimator with experience in both commercial and residential exp.
Under General Candidate will estimate costs, schedule bids and prepare budgets.
Analyzes RFP, specifications and drawings to determine the constructibility of the current design.
Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of estimation experience, plus a thorough working knowledge of HVAC systems, design and installation
- Requires strong verbal and written communication skills, effective organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to set-up, automate and track data and information
- Ability to self-initiate activities, coordinate tasks and manage projects with strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Requires strong customer service, excellent people skills and the ability to build and maintain supportive working relationships
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, flexibly and responsively while working with competing priorities and deadlines
- Excellent computer skills with Timberline and MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook) and the ability to create and maintain spreadsheets and create reports
