Function:
Engage in multi-craft work in order to operate, maintain, repair, and modify building equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years building experience required. Reading, writing and English speaking skills
necessary. Must be able to work in varying physical environments, including heights and outside weather. Must have a valid Illinois driver's license.
Must be able to be contacted by telephone for emergencies, and be able to respond to the College within 30 minutes. Ability to work from a ladder, lift
100lbs, and work on feet at least 8 hours. Experience working with steam and hot water boilers as well as knowledge of water treatment a plus. Working
experience of the following, but not limited to:
- Electrical up to 480 volts
- HVAC controls
- Kitchen equipment
- Steam
and hot water boilers
- Absorbers and chillers
